Attach a row of hooks to a painted panel of wood and embellish with buttons for practical, yet feminine appeal.

Wood
White paint
Purchased decorative hooks – the ones shown were found at a Dollar Store
Decorative buttons
Screws suitable to attach hooks
E6000 or Household Goop glue
Craft Instructions:
I recycled an old sign board for this craft project, but any piece of wood cut to a suitable size will work for this project.
hook with buttonPaint the wood with washable white paint and allow the paint to dry.
Attach the hooks, equally spaced along the length of the wood, using screws that are suitable for the hook size.
To hide the screws, as shown in the photos at right, simply glue a decorative button on top of the screw, using a strong household glue.
Add cup hooks or safety hooks to the top of the board (refer to the top photo) and use a ribbon or rope to hang your board. Alternatively, you can use picture hangers or other methods of hanging the panel.
