SWEET BABY CROCHETED LAYETTE
Introduction: I crocheted a layette for my daughter very similar to this one and then lost the pattern. The embroidery is what makes it so memorable; although I made other layettes, there are only a few that I washed and carefully kept in layers of tissue paper. After more than two decades, these baby cardigans and blankies still look like new.
I found this adorable, embroidered layette in the archives for Coats & Clark. Like many of their patterns, it looks like a keeper to me. So here’s your chance to crochet a future heirloom for today’s babies – and, who knows, maybe their babies as well.
