It won’t take you long to crochet a veritable snow storm of miniature snowflakes with this quick and easy pattern, which consists of only three rounds. These snowflakes look lovely on the Christmas tree, but are also small enough for homemade Christmas cards, scrapbooking or gift tags.
Gauge:
Is not important in this pattern. Each crocheted snowflake is quite small, being about two inches around.
You Will Need:
» Small amounts of white, light worsted weight yarn (white sparkle yarn was used here)
» 2mm crochet hook
» scissors

Pattern:
Round 1: Ch. 4, join with slip stitch to form ring. Ch. 1, 6 sc in ring. Join.
Round 2: Ch. 1, sc in same stitch as ch. 1, ch. 4., *sc in next sc, ch. 4.* Repeat all around, creating six ch.4 loops. Join to beginning sc.
Round 3: Ch. 1, sc in same stitch as ch. 1. *Ch. 4, sc in 2nd ch from hook (picot point made), 2 sc, sc in next sc at base of next loop.* Repeat all around, creating six picot points in total.
Fasten off, leaving a single strand of yarn about six inches long. Loop the yarn and knot at the base to make a hanger. Cut off the tail end.
