Valentine’s Day Art – “Kiss Kids” Window Picture
by Jane Lake and Twila Lenoir
This sweet little picture is a perfect beginning for some special Valentine’s Day Art!
Use the full-size version of this sweet Kiss Kids picture (or choose one of your own) to make an artistic “window” for Valentine’s Day!
Kiss Kids Valentine Window Picture – Materials List:
- Kiss Kids Picture – or your own choice of artwork
- foiling glue
- gold or silver foil
- picture frame to fit printed picture
- colored or white cardboard
Print out your picture on card stock. Measure carefully, and cut the picture in half. Now measure and cut each section in half again, so that you have a total of four pictures.
With your finger rub the foiling glue on top of the picture square edges. Do the same on each and let dry. This will take about an hour.
When dry, you can begin the fun part, which is to embed the foil. Place the foil, with the shiny side up, onto the glue and repeat until all the glue is covered. Do this for all four pieces.
Cut the cardboard to the size of the frame and place your foiled picture squares so they are lined up but separated a little. Put in your frame and stand back and admire.
Repeat with another picture if you want a matching set of two “window framed” pieces of art.
