This crocheted scrunchie pattern was designed for my daughter, Mya, who loves them for her ponytail!
They are easy to make and the end results are very pretty.

What you need:
Fabric wrapped rubber bands
your choice of yarn
crochet hook – gauge isn’t critical in this pattern, so just use a hook that gives the effect that you want when you work the pattern
Pattern Instructions:
Single crochet (sc) around the elastic band until you get to your first single crochet (sc), join with a slip stitch (sl st) in first sc.
Row 1: Chain 15, and in back loops (bl) only, slip stitch (sl st) in next single crochet (sc) Chain 15 slip stitch (sl st) in next single crochet (sc), around to first chain 15.
You are still in the first row, working in the front loops:
Chain 15 in front loops (fl) only, slip stitch (sl st) in next single crochet (sc). Chain 15, slip stitch in next front loop (fl) around to first chain 15. Fasten off. I had to make lots, my daughter loved them.
